This blog is where I will post links to songs, videos, and explanations and examples of our classroom activities so that you can enjoy them at home. Doing the activities that are sent home each week will also reinforce the skills we are trying to develop in class.
I will also periodically post ideas, tips and hints about helping a child progress musically. It is important to make music a part of every day, in some way.
The Rainbow Riders aren't required to "practice" every day, like the older students. Incorporating their musical games and activities into their play will make music feel more like a treat than a chore, setting the children up for more a more positive attitude toward practice time in the future.
